Carol Hobbs, CFO, Chartered Accountant
In her position as Chief Financial Officer, Carol is responsible for all of the financial aspects of Budget Waste including financial direction, systems and controls, finance, corporate governance, financial relationships, audit and external reporting. She comes to Budget with 20 years experience, both in Canada and the US and in the private and public sector. She has been CFO of three publicly traded companies in Canada in sports software training, oil and gas software and the oil and gas business. She has been instrumental in setting up systems and controls for startup companies and doing disaster recovery on existing companies. She has also spent many years doing training of accounting software packages and setting up electronic systems.
Carol is a Chartered Accountant, having articled with Ernst & Young, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.
